The meeting involved representatives from the NSPCC, St. Josephs Family Centre, CAMHS, the Local Education Authority and Talk, Don’t..Walk project. It was the first time that all agencies had come together to discus Rachel’s needs and requirements.
Rachel was given the opportunity to discuss her feelings and her issues which was empowering for Rachel; it also gave Rachel’s parents the opportunity to discuss their concerns. An action plan was agreed and Rachel has now successfully returned to full-time education and has not runaway since, Rachel is still involved in the Talk, D
